IT Governance, the leading provider of ISO 27001 consultancy services and information security solutions, is delighted to announce that its director, Steve Watkins, will deliver a Hive meeting at the
ISO27001 Ireland event in Dublin.
The subject of the Hive meeting is:
EU GDPR – How your ISO 27001-aligned ISMS can help (and how to update your ISMS in light of EU GDPR to keep your auditors happy!).
The workshop provides an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance requirements and how
an ISO 27001-aligned information security management system (ISMS) can support GDPR compliance.
The two-hour meeting is designed to equip ISMS auditors with a comprehensive understanding of why the GDPR must be taken into consideration, and what requirements they need to meet in order to comply with the Regulation.
The Hive session will take place on Wednesday, 26 April 2017, from 14:00 – 16:30 (GMT) at ISO27001 Ireland, Croke Park Stadium, Jones' Road, Dublin 3, where IT Governance will also be exhibiting.
Information security professionals wishing to learn about the GDPR and how compliance can be managed with an ISO 27001-compliant ISMS are encouraged to book their place by
