IT Governance to exhibit at the GDPR Summit in Dublin

25/08/2017

IT Governance, the leading provider of information security expertise and solutions, is pleased to announce it will exhibit at the GDPR Summit at Croke Park in Dublin on 12 September.

The one-day summit focuses on understanding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into effect in May 2018. The event provides networking opportunities with data protection professionals and an insight into practical and technical methods to reduce the risk of a data breach.

The agenda, led by industry-leading data security and GDPR compliance experts, includes seminars and panel discussions designed to help organisations understand the GDPR and best practice for achieving compliance.

Our GDPR and information security experts will be available to discuss the GDPR and the Security of Network and Information Systems (NIS) Directive, as well as how our products and services can help organisations and data protection professionals with compliance projects.

The founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, Alan Calder, said: “We’re delighted to be attending the GDPR Summit in Dublin. The GDPR requires a significant amount of work and time so this event will allow us to raise awareness and inform individuals involved with compliance projects about the requirements that need to be met to comply with the Regulation.”
