GRC International partners with Bloom Equity for next phase of growth
(Ely, UK) GRC International (“GRCI”), a leading provider of IT governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) solutions, has completed a transaction to become a privately held company through its partnership with Bloom Equity Partners. GRCI’s shares have been delisted from the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange as part of this strategic move.
GRCI, known for its comprehensive range of consulting services, training programmes and software solutions, is uniquely positioned to address key IT and cyber security compliance needs for organisations across the UK, Europe and North America. These include frameworks like ISO 27001, the GDPR, the PCI DSS and emerging regulations such as DORA.
“This partnership with Bloom Equity marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for GRCI,” said Alan Calder, Founder and CEO of GRCI. “The additional operational resources and expertise provided by Bloom will allow us to further develop our product offering and enhance our ability to help customers meet their most critical cyber security and regulatory challenges.”
Bart Macdonald, Managing Partner of Bloom Equity, commented: “GRCI has built a stellar reputation as a leader in the GRC and cyber security compliance market. With the growing demand for more robust governance frameworks, we see an incredible opportunity for GRCI to expand its presence and continue its growth journey.”
“The take-private transaction was a complex process, but one that aligns with Bloom Equity’s vision of unlocking the potential of high-growth companies. We are committed to working closely with Alan and the GRCI team to drive long-term success,” said Jeff Hsiang, Partner at Bloom Equity.
